Road traffic accidents (RTAs) are unpredictable events that can happen to any driver, regardless of experience.

In the event of a road traffic accident, you should immediately contact a lawyer who will provide a clear algorithm of actions that will determine the outcome of the administrative protocol, civil action or criminal case in court.

Under no circumstances should the driver leave the scene of the accident, as in this case he or she faces administrative liability. According to Art. 122-4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, a fleeing driver may receive a fine of 15 tax-free minimum incomes, or arrest for a period of 10 to 15 days, or community service for 30 to 40 hours.

After registering an accident, both drivers must immediately, but no later than 3 business days from the date of the accident, notify the insurance company with which they have concluded an insurance contract of the accident, as well as information about the location of their vehicle and damaged property.
